Teamplan — how to use it

Your schedule, flight, room, car and kit, sorted for you. teamplan.heartofracingteam.com

1 · Sign in

The sign-in screen.
  • Open the link in your invite email and set a password — six characters or more.
  • Tick Remember this device for 90 days.
  • Did you forget your password? "Forgotten your password?" sends a reset link. If you do not receive an email, ask a coordinator for a new invite.

2 · Add it to your home screen (iphone & android)

Follow the screenshots below to add the webpage to your home screen. This then allows the HOR Teamplan to open just like an app. If you have an iPhone, it is also the only way notifications work.

Chrome asks once. No Install button? Click ⋮ menu, top right, then Add to Home screen.

3 · Turn on notifications

  • Bell, top right → Notify my phone.
  • If you have an iPhone, open the HOR Teamplan from the home screen icon first — the bell button does nothing in a Safari tab. 
  • You are notified when your car sets a leave time, if your seat changes, or a seating reshuffle is published. 

4 - transport / rental cars how to

  • Are you a Driver? To set leave times to and from the airport or to and from the track you follow these steps: 
    Under the Transport tab → your car → scroll to the departure you want to change → and then you can set your leave times 5 different ways: In 10 min / In 20 min / In 30 min, Leaving now, or Set a time.
  • Everyone in your car is notified when the leave time is sent. Did you change your mind? Any edits made will notify your riders.
  • Are you riding? A new leave time notification is sent directly to you, letting you know when you need to be ready. 
  • If you decide to switch rides or not ride at all, on the Trip tab, you are taken off the headcount. Your driver then knows you are no longer riding with them and have found another ride. 

5 - The screens

Dashboard, Schedule, Transport and Documents sit along the bottom; everything else is behind More. Trip is a toggle at the top of the Dashboard, not a page of its own. The search field at the top can help you find information.

Your planned ride assignments and your accommodation details for the weekend. Clicking Remind me puts a departure time in your calendar, and Not riding today takes you off of that car's headcount - allowing you to move to a different car.

My duties show your schedule for the weekend based on your crew assignment (GS/GTD/GTP). Everything shows the team schedule across all crews.

Every ride assignment for the weekend: who is driving, who is riding, and a call button to easily contact your driver.

Documents

Documents

The memo, schedule and maps updated to the newest version. A dot marks what you have not opened.

Travel

Travel

Your flights in and out, your confirmation number, and the team members you are flying with. 

Hotels

Hotels

Displays the length of your stay, the check-in and check-out times, the amenities, and the rooming list. Team Hotels allows you to see accommodations for other team members.

Ask plainly: “where do I stay”, “when does my flight leave”.

The ability to contact every crew member without having to type in their phone number.

FAQs

does the app automatically update?
Yes. The App is constantly refreshing itself to give you the most up to date and current information. 
do i need to be connected to wifi for the app to load?
No. The app supports cellular and wi-fi connections. Departures and wake-ups added through the "Remind me" buttons work even if you are offline. 
My personal information is incorrect. 
Fix it under My Profile.
Something else is wrong
Tell a coordinator. We will fix the bug for everyone. 
I want to know the details for the next race but do not see it as an option. 
The next event appears when a coordinator publishes the information. 
New phone?
Sign in and add it to the home screen again. Sign the old one out under My Profile --> Devices
